Prior to attending Angela’s “Shrink It” Small Group Personal Training (SGPT) class, I was that girl that came in, hopped on the elliptical for half an hour, and then headed home. I knew I wasn’t getting as much out of my gym membership as I could. I loved the personal training sessions that came with my membership, but it wasn’t in my budget to continue personal training. The SGPTs – and Angela’s “Shrink It” – were the solution to my problem! I’ve been taking “Shrink It” since January and the changes have been wonderful. Inches and pounds have been lost, my arms are sculpted for the first time in my life, and much of the post-babies and nearing-40 sag has been counteracted. The class hits every major muscle group and while some exercises are standards, Angela likes to rotate some exercises and brings in new techniques and challenges each week. Even after 6 months, I plan to continue Shrinking It and know Angela will make it worth my time! She always helps participants work to their level and offers alternatives for those with injuries or other physical limitations. The class is easy on the joints and low-impact, but don’t be fooled – everyone leaves completely drenched. It is a thorough workout that really gets results! And thanks to the class, I now have an arsenal of exercises I can perform at-home or in the gym after my 30 on the elliptical.

“I decided to get a trainer because I wanted to have a better workout. I’d been a member of a sports club for over 7 years and developed a very boring treadmill routine. Occasionally I would take a dance or yoga class, but overall I felt that I wasn’t pushing myself or seeing results.

Being historically a very tall, thin guy, I was at first a bit intimidated and unsure about weight training– if I would feel comfortable, if I would enjoy it, and I was especially unsure if I’d get results.
